Safeguarding statement
Safeguarding comes before everything else
The Pastoral Hub provides information and signposting. It does not receive referrals or manage individual safeguarding cases.

Immediate danger
If a child or anybody else is in immediate danger, call 999.
For school staff
Follow your setting’s safeguarding and child-protection procedures without delay. Speak to the designated safeguarding lead or deputy and make the required record. Do not wait for a response from The Pastoral Hub.
For parents and carers
Contact the child’s school safeguarding team, your local authority children’s services, the police or the NSPCC as appropriate. If you need urgent medical help that is not a 999 emergency, use NHS 111.
Contacting us
Our inbox is not continuously monitored. Do not send a child’s name, address, school, health information or details of an individual case. We cannot promise confidentiality where a message indicates an immediate and serious risk of harm.
Young people
Young people can contact Childline on 0800 1111. Kooth offers free, anonymous online wellbeing support in participating areas; local age eligibility varies. Neither The Pastoral Hub nor Kooth is a crisis service.
